The Heike Kakurekan (Heike Hidden Hall) is a raised-floor building crafted from natural mountain materials, where guests gather around the hearth under the soft glow of lantern light to begin a warm and joyful feast.
Our desire to serve food “hot while it’s hot” led us back to the roots of Japanese dining — the traditional irori hearth — making our inn the birthplace of irori cuisine in Yunishigawa.
In our signature Irori Kaiseki Course, guests savor freshly grilled delicacies from the mountains and rivers over glowing red charcoal, accompanied by the head chef’s creative kaiseki dishes that celebrate the flavors of each passing season.
